The GCBE is managed by its Executive Director, John A. "Jay" Brady, AICP, who joined the Exchange in January of 1995. Mr. Brady is a certified planner who worked in local government for ten years, and in the private sector for five years, before coming to work for the Exchange.
Jay holds a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Florida. He has lived in Sarasota since 1968. He is married to Veronica Booth Brady and they have two children. |

Sara Sheets serves as Membership Coordinator and joined the GCBE in May 2007. Sara helps coordinate GCBE functions including networking socials, golf tournaments, the annual trade show, and dinner events. Ms. Sheets experience includes positions in politics, as an English instructor in Japan, and as a contractor for the Air Force in Washington, D.C.
Sara holds a Master of Arts from The George Washington University in History with a Concentration in Public Policy. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa in Political Science and History. Sara and her husband have lived in the Sarasota-Bradenton area for three years. |
