“In universities, people know through studies. In businesses and bureaucracies, people know by reports. In communities, people know by stories.” - John McKnight

With each community study, SCOPE produces a documentary to put a human face on the issue. Known as “The Stories Project,” these locally-produced films are a collection of stories told by Sarasota County residents about their experiences with issues ranging from affordable housing to race and cultural relations.

If your organization would like a screening of one of The Stories Project
documentaries, call the SCOPE Speakers Bureau at 941-365-8751.
