Gulf Coast Builders Exchange/Sarasota & Manatee Home Builders Associations Annual Joint Dinner

Tony Polito, Tampa Director of Metrostudy is this year’s featured speaker at the annual joint dinner of the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange, and the Home Builders Associations of Manatee and Sarasota Counties. Mr. Polito’s address will review the residential and commercial real estate markets. He will also provide a forecast for these markets’ future.

Prior to joining Metrostudy in 1999, Mr. Polito was involved in the Tampa Bay Area banking industry for 13 years. His work at the Bank of America and its Florida predecessor included positions in the Homebuilder Finance Group. He also served as a commercial loan officer and credit analyst for Fortune Savings Bank. Mr. Polito is a member of the Builders Association of Greater Tampa and is the organization’s featured speaker at its annual Economic Forecast Meeting. From 1997 - 2001, he served as Secretary of the Pasco County Housing Finance Authority.

This year’s event is also featuring a food drive benefiting the All Faiths Food Bank. Donations of non-perishable food items, as well as cash, will be accepted during the social hour.

It is requested that reservations be made no later than Friday, May 9. This event, attended by over 200 area professionals, is expected to sell out as it has in previous years.

Summer Networking Social at Sabal Palm Bank

GCBE Member Sabal Palm Bank is hosting the Summer Networking Social on Thursday evening June 12 at its office at 5101 Fruitville Road just west of Honore. The event is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Admission is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for future members. You are invited to network with fellow members, future members, and friends.
